I am still unsure about the new denim prints that I have seen this Spring of 2012. One of them being floral print. Depending on the size of the print, I feel like it is way too much. This photo is the best example of floral denim print that I have seen so far. The print goes well with the solid colored tank, and the sky blue converse were a nice touch to set it off. I will call floral denim a 2012 Spring fad. I do not think it will be "in style" too much longer, but we will see.

Oooohh baby...lace me up
I LOVE lace! Lace, to me, is one of those classic Spring/Summer fabrics. It is very lightweight, comes in beautiful colors such as ivory, peach, coral, mint, and red. You can dress it up to go on a romantic date, or dress it down to spend a beautiful afternoon at your local festival. I have seen a lot of bandeau tops lately, most of them have this heart-shaped top, and they are of course, coming in LACE. I have also seen a lot more of lace shorts and skirts, usually they will come in high-waist styles. Oh! Please do not forget to wear a slip under your lace garments, you are in public, not the bedroom!
shorty McShort shorts...
Daisy Dukes, Hot Pants, Short Shorts, Coochie Cutters...whatever you call them, this 2012 Summer is definitely bringing back the extreme short shorts. The inner pockets are hanging below the hem of the shorts, and the tush is hanging all the way out! I personally, will not be wearing these shorts this summer, or ever! Not because I do not like them, but you have to be toned and have thin legs to get into them. To each is own, so have at it ladies! Show those legs!
bricks of gold
Whatever happened to Silver? Gold has certainly taken over accessories for the past few years. From gold buckles on shoes and handbags, to gold bracelets, earrings, watches, and rings. I see gold EVERYWHERE. I have even noticed that I have been buying more gold accessories. It just seems more appealing to the eye, but specs of silver are still around. Most of the jewelry that is out there, are these collar necklaces, long layered necklaces, skinny or thick bangles, rings that look like pyramids. Also, I have seen a lot of layering bangles and watches. So go bold or go home is the new accessory motto.

say YES to color
I am not too sure about this whole color blocking movement. I do love to wear color, but black is still the best, to me. Bold colors are in! Shoes, handbags, garments, accessories...all loaded with these beautiful bright, intense colors. Not all colors look great on all skin tones, and not all colors look great together. So watch what you are putting on and throwing together. Do not overdo your colors, it will start to look really chaotic, and an eye soar to your surroundings.
prrrrr...kitty kat
prrrrr...said the kitty. Overtime designers have thrown a little leopard print here and there into some of their collections; Like Alexander Wang's leopard shoes that sold out back in 2010. Leopard print used to be seen in more houses as an accessory. But now, we are seeing leopard print in our fashion accessories and garments; Belts, nails, handbags, pants, shoes, etc. There are different shades of leopard prints, whatever they may be, it looks great on almost anyone. I think it is best to not have too much of this print on, maybe just a belt, or just the shoes, or the bag. Never a whole entire outfit of leopard print...anyone who can pull that off...kudos to you!
